Miaventura's
Pedigree

Miaventura
May 2008
Miaventura
is a full Colombian Foundation Bred mare with impeccable
old champion lines in her pedigree. She is a Lunares
granddaughter, and carries lines to Belmonte, Dulzura
que tal, Hilachas, Salpicada, Resorte III, Guala, Rosada,
El Capricho, Consentida and Singer. Gracewood Farm acquired
Mia as a broodmare in late 2005.

Also,
Mia is riding the woodland trails and open rural areas
with her owner Lynn Gallup.

Mia
has produced two foals previously from top Classic Fino
stallions -- a dun filly and a chestnut colt. She stands
at 14.1 hands. She has been shown successfully before
in Pleasure Mares winning her class, and also competed
at the Paso Fino Grand National Show in Pleasure Mares.

In
late 2007, Mia started giving beginner youth riders horsemanship
lessons for students.

Broodmare
Record: Miaventura
has produced a chestnut Paso Fino colt by Tobias de Ocho
and a zebra dun filly (deceased)
by Resplandor Tres.
Paso
Fino Color Factor: Mia's paternal grandsire
Lunares is a known zebra dun producer. Mia's sire, though
listed as chestnut before he grayed, has produced 41%
buckskin and dun registered PFHA offspring. Mia's dam
is black, with both of Mia's maternal grandsire and granddam
being black. So strong dun and grulla prospects are in
order crossed on Emperador.

The
Future: We are excited about Miaventura
as a new Gracewood Farm's and seeing her future offspring
from our breeding program with Emperador La Estrella.
Also, Mia is a being trained as a Gracewood lead line
and beginner student horsemanship lesson mount.

Emperador
and Mia greet for the first time November 6, 2005.
